Adult tooth grew in behind baby teeth?
DS is 6. The other day he woke up and discovered an adult tooth popped up behind his bottom front baby teeth which are now both loose. Do you think the tooth will shift forward once the baby teeth come out? Will he need them pulled? I'm nervous because it seems so far back. Anyone have experience with this? Will call dentist Monday.

My DD had this for a few weeks before the baby tooth came out. Any longer and it would have to be pulled to make room...

My son had to have one of his baby teeth removed because of this. Don't wait too long because it can effect positioning.

I had them when I was young. I had to have my baby teeth pulled but my adult teeth then moved into place.
It varies though and some will not move

Shark teeth. Pretty common.
My 7 year old niece just had this and had the baby teeth pulled.

DC had this with both bottom teeth. Dentist said leave it be. The baby teeth were loose and came out on their own.
