I finally got it, but I got information overload!!!
I don't even know where to start, there is just so much info!!
Did anyone use it as THE guide when they went shopping?

Re: Baby Bargains book
Pick one category and read it, then research another. Don't make yourself crazy!

Re: Baby Bargains book
It is really overwelming all at once! Reading it a little at a time is the best way to do it. Choose one item to research - read about it - then go to a store to see it maybe. I had it with me when we were registering and picking out the furniture. It was great to have a reference book with me becaus ethere was no way I was remembering all of that information without the book!

Re: Baby Bargains book
I just got mine the other day. I am home on bedrest so I started with one thing (i.e. swings), read the chapter on it, then went online shopping and started a wishlist of the things that I wanted to register for later on. I pretty much went with their recommendations because I have heard so many great things about the book.

We read it a little at a time, category by category & making notes/highlighting stuff

Re: Baby Bargains book
I pretty much used it as "THE" guide, but took some other things into consideration as well (recommendations from friends, the ladies here, and other sites that review products).
Use it for the big things first - furniture, strollers, car seats, etc. - and then see what kind of 'help' you need for the smaller things.
I remember being TOTALLY overwhelmed at first - like NO clue what to resister for - and eventually, I figured stuff out and feel as though I made good choices. You will, too.

Re: Baby Bargains book
took me weeks and weeks to read it , I marked it up like crazy. I just started small. Yes I relied on it heavily in the end.

Re: Baby Bargains book
That book helped me a lot when choosing my furniture.
I agree though, it's SO much info, you have to do a little @ a time.
That was a great buy-
