Baby Bjorn
Is it worth the $$? Anyone NOT like it?
I like the idea, just afraid to spend money on something he might hate?

Re: Baby Bjorn
I love mine. It was a life saver when DS was around 3mths old. I couldnt put him down without him crying. Plus I find it carrying him so much easier then lugging around a stroller.
I am a huge baby wearing fan, I still use my Bjorn and I now have a couple of hotslings.

Re: Baby Bjorn
Life saver when she was younger! I would look on craigslist or consignment store for a used one since you can throw the whole thing in a washing machine. They had one at my consignment store for $20.

Re: Baby Bjorn
Lily isn't a fan of the Bjorn. I've tried it with her, and I think it's too rigid yet for her. I can see it being useful as she gets older..... I did buy The Ultimate Baby Wrap the other day and she LOVES it! It looks a little strange when you're wearing it - but she was completely comforted by it and fell asleep both times I was wearing it yesterday. And I think it's less expensive than the Bjorn.

Re: Baby Bjorn
DH loves the Bjorn and DS likes it too. For me I prefer a sling . The Bjorn that we have is for hot weather (because DH is a sweater) and the back support is not as good as the regular Bjorn. The sling distributes weight much more evenly across my back. DS seems to do fine in both, but I think right now with the heat he prefers the Bjorn. Plus, he likes to look around and in the sling he can't do that yet.

same here.
in the end, you buy it and if your child hates it, RETURN IT.

Re: Baby Bjorn
You know I love mine. I kind of bring it everywhere as a back up. I calmed him down with it at the beach and even at a dinner party.
Once he was Noah's age, I could get him in it myself too.
I agree with craigslist b/c you can wash it

Re: Baby Bjorn
I use mine constantly... for quick walkable trips to the store, its so much easier then pulling the jogger outside. Also, in the evening when it isnt bedtime yet I know she isn't going to fall asleep in it like she would in the stroller.
