Re: Baby Bjorn/Snugli/sling.....
I don't know what the Snugli is, but I like the Bjorn enough. Now that Steven is heavier, it's not that great because I still feel it in my shoulders. Unless I'm not wearing it right and he hasn't hit the 35 lb mark yet, but when I put him in it, it's killer.
the sling is OK. He never really liked it as a newborn, he loved the Bjorn. I've used the sling as a hip carrier, and his legs get squashed and red. So, the sling didn't work the best for us.
I would love to get a Moby wrap, they look great and you have more freedon as far as size of baby because it so stretchy. Also, there are soooo many ways to wear the baby it really does grow with them. And, the shouldes have wider coverage, so unlike the Bjorn, you don't feel it all in one spot.

Re: Baby Bjorn/Snugli/sling.....
DH loves the Bjorn, but I find that the one we have hurts my back. I have a Peanut Shell pouch that DS hates. I think that once he can hold his head up it will be fine. I LOVE my Maya Wrap ring sling. I find that it distributes DS's weight better across my back then the Bjorn. It is simple, but you do have to get used to placing your baby in it. I have only had it for a month and DS still cries when I first put him in , but a couple of minutes of walking and he is quiet and content (most of the time asleep). It has really helped me out on those super fuss days. I put him in it and he sleeps and I can get some stuff done.

Re: Baby Bjorn/Snugli/sling.....
I have a snugli (same thing as the bjorn...i just liked the style and price better). I love it...especially since I do not like infant carrier carseats and it isn't always optimal to use the stroller (grocery store, doing laundry...). I bought a sling for about 3 hours. I couldn't get the strap to adjust enough for me and DS didn't appreciate being put in it. I wish I still had the Bjorn I had with DD...you could disconnect the part the baby was in from the straps and leave her in it for the carseat ride home if she fell asleep!

Re: Baby Bjorn/Snugli/sling.....
I haven't used my Bjorn yet -- it intimidates me!! It looks like I need a team to get her in there.
I had the Ultimate Baby Wrap but it didn't feel secure, and again lots of maneuvering to get baby in it.
So I exchanged it for a simple sling, and right now (24 days old) we love it....it's so easy, she doesn't wake as I put her in or take her out...

Re: Baby Bjorn/Snugli/sling.....
Love the bjorn...but cannot use it now as DD is 24lbs and its killer on my shoulders. Used it a lot when she was a baby.
Need another wrap though....was thinking about the ergo but dont know.
Hope you get some good suggestions but I love the bjorn AND I got it in tj maxx!

Re: Baby Bjorn/Snugli/sling.....
Put it this way... Bella is passed out in the Bjorn as we speak. She's in one of those moods where she will not let me put her down. When she falls asleep, I put her in the swing, up after 5 minutes. So I threw on the Bjorn, put her in it and she was out in a few seconds. I find the Bjorn to be VERY comfy and easy to use, once you set it up.
I did just order a Moby Wrap, so we'll see how that works when it comes. MOBY WRAP

For Paul's age I would say a sling. I recommend www.lucky-baby.com If you go on their sale page you can usually get a sling for about $20. They have fast shipping and great customer service.

DH helped me figure it out the 1st time - I know what you mean - all those straps and buckles intimidated the heck out of me! But now I love my Bjorn with a passion. DH and I argue about who gets to wear Cailen!

I used the ultimate baby sling- it was the best. Let me know if you want me to help you find it- it saved my life and was so comfy.
When she was older I used the bjorn. I had the snugli but didn;t like it.

LOVE the bjorn. . . when DD gets heavier I'll probably look into getting a mobi - but for now - the bjorn is SACRED in my home!

Re: Baby Bjorn/Snugli/sling.....
Didn't care for the Snugli nor the BJorn but DH seems to like... I use daily the Mei Tei and occasionally a ring sling...
