Did they refer to this as a marginal cord insertion? I have that with my current pregnancy. I have heard so many different things about this condition, including that it can rectify on its own as the baby grows. Praying for you and your babies
Thank you! How many weeks are you? And yes that's what they are saying
I am almost 25 weeks. A lot of doctors have told me that mci is a variation of normal and often is not detected until birth (they rarely even look for it.) Usually it just involves extra montoring to make sure the baby is growing properly. I would not lose hope yet! Good luck

I'm so sorry you're in this position. I'd start by scheduling another opinion so that regardless of the decision you make, you know that it's the most informed one.

I know you are still early on in your pregnancy but did they give you the option of continuing on with the pregnancy w/ close monitoring and delivering early? There is viability after 25 weeks. I know having a premie is not ideal but it could give Baby C the ability to thrive outside the womb? Sorry you are going through this!!

So sorry that you have to go through this and think about these options. How far are you? Is the Dr saying that you need to decide quickly or can you wait a bit and see what happens and then make the decision if it comes to that in a few weeks?

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Whatever you decide as you go forward, it will be out of love for all the of those sweet babies. I hope all works out as well as possible and you have lots of support surrounding you.
Maybe check out babycenter or Facebook support groups for other moms in a similar situation. I've learned both sites have groups for everything and talking to others in your shoes may help.

I agree. I wouldn't make any decision until I sought out another opinion.
And I cannot imagine what you are going through, many prayers.
