Baby Christening-Non Church members
What church did you have your baby christened if you were not an active church member We are not members of a church but we still want to christen DD. Any suggestions-We are hoping to find a church we can attend regularly.

I believe no church will turn away a child. I'd go to a church in your neighborhood that you plan on attending services. Just go & speak to a priest/call.

Re: Baby Christening-Non Church members
there are a lot of churches that will still do a christening even if you arent a member of their church (although they would like you to start coming atleast once in awhile, but it isnt mandatory) I just called around to a few in my neighborhood to see what they said...I wound up going with the one that made me feel most welcome even though I had never been there before.

Re: Baby Christening-Non Church members
We just moved to NJ 3 months ago and needed to find a place. Honestly I called around and needed to find a church that didn't have strict guidelines for godparents because my brother was never confirmed. I found one that was about 15 minutes away and went with it. I did register when I signed up for the christening
