Baby Depot STINKS!
We went in there a few weeks ago to check out the furniture. So we found a crib and dresser we loved. So we asked the guy about it, and he said that since it was a top 8 seller, that it would always be in stock. So when we're ready just come in and pick it up. So the inlaws are buying us the crib, and for some reason they were taking their time ordering it. But I wasn't worried. So MIL calls the store yesterday to order the crib, and the saleswoman said they werent in stock. And that they would be in 16 weeks!!! (ok, I'm probably delivering in 6 or 7 weeks).
So we go there to see what the deal is, and the lady says the same thing, and also says that the guy who told us that is probably the EX manager. She calls a bunch of stores (the computer said they had some in stock) and NONE of them have the crib. Great inventory system you guys have!
So we leave and we call a few more stores from home and no one has it. So now what?? Most stores do not carry cribs in stock. So I thought about JCPenney, which I've heard CAN have bad customer service, but I thought lets give it a shot.
So we just ordered all of our furniture yesterday. I'll keep my fingers crossed that we get it in time.
I swear, nothing can be easy.

I love the crib from JC Penney...i'm actually debating between that one and the Tori one from there.

We almost got the Tori, but the changing table costs $170 something to ship. Meanwhile I got free shipping for both Heirloom dressers, and the total was just a little more than the ONE Tori dresser with shipping.

BRU has cribs that you can get really quick. I think I got mine in a couple of weeks. They might even have some in stock.

Damn! That is how I got mine - but it was a discontinued model (and it was at BBB)
