They are kind of cute but it looks like they're tight and would hurt.

I guess that is my main thing...I can barely stand a regular headband myself, little own an elastic band around my entire head!

Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm not a fan of pierced ears on a baby. I know a lot of people do it to their little girls, but I don't care for the look on a little baby with not a lot of hair.

I am not a fan of piercing a baby/toddler ears either. I will wait till my DD is old enough to ask me to get them. Even then I'll have to think about it. I didn't get my ears pierced till I was 15 yrs old, I had to beg my mother

Same here, I got mine done when I was 12 I think!
I think it looks cute on babies usually (with studs) but I just don't think I can bring myself to get it done that early.

ITA... teenager is perfect time. I got mine at around 13 and couldn't stand changing them so I let them close then got them done again in college. I just don't think it's so cute on babies. I love hats the most. So cute... or a little clip.

I thought I was the only one who was anti-head band/earrings on baby girls.

Re: Baby Headbands
No headbands, no ear piercing. The clothes will clearly show my baby is a girl.

Re: Baby Headbands
I never even really thought about this! If I have a girl I'll probably lay off the headbands though. The bows? Mayyyyybe for a special occasion or something. They are cute but don't seem very functional. Then again, how much of what we accessorize with as adults is either?

I agree, I just don't see the point. What is there to look forward too when you're older? I was old enough to ask and to actually want to have it done. It was really exciting to go and pick out my own. If I have a dughter I would prefer she gets to do the same.

Okay... so I guess I'm a bad mommy...BTW... she wore this the majority of the day (at a week old), it did not bother her, nor were there any indentations in her head.

Re: Baby Headbands
I don't like the little thin ones, but I am in love with the baby hats with bows or the large crocheted ones with bows
