Baby in my ribs!
So my baby decided that my ribs were a good place to hang out and has stuck one of her body parts in there. She does this quite often, especially when I'm driving It hurts! I've been trying to get her to move but no such luck! Any suggestions! I can;t get comforable.

I've had that too. I also notice it more when driving. I wish I had some suggestions for you, but I have no idea what to do to make it better. I hope she moves out of there for you.

Re: Baby in my ribs!
I have had a limb in my right rib for the last 3 days. I can't believe a litte spaghetti arm or leg can be so powerful.

Re: Baby in my ribs!
My daughters leg was stuck underneath my ribs on my right side from the time that I was 7 months pregnant. She never moved from that position no matter what I did. When she was born, she literally had what looked like a "rug burn" on her knee from where she was rubbing up against my rib. Amazing huh?

Re: Baby in my ribs!
try massages but gentle of course. My baby had its foot stuck in my right rib really bad and my DH rubbed lightly and he could feel the babys pressure and the baby wiggled out of there. It was the best feeling. good luck!

Re: Baby in my ribs!
Put headphones on your belly towards the bottom. Turn then on so baby can hear...She should swim where the noise is..if she doesn't you have a stubborn one. This worked with all three of my pregnancies...Good Luck!!!

Re: Baby in my ribs!
It's posts like this that make me thankful I am carrying low.
How about going on your hands and knees and massaging the area you want her to move from?
I know that sometimes with lean all to one side and my whole belly is lopsided for hours. If I masage it for a few minutes (with a little poking also), he will move back into the middle.
Good Luck! Sounds painful

Re: Baby in my ribs!
Someone at work told me to try placing an ice cube on/near the spot she's camping out in. I guess her mom did that while pg with her brother b/c he liked to hang out at her diaphragm and it worked every time. I haven't had to try it myself yet.

I know what you mean - it hurts so bad and sometimes the baby can just get going and not leave you alone. Try laying down or change positions.

Re: Baby in my ribs!
I physically push Luca when he's in a weird spot. I know that he's head down, so all I'm pushing is his legs/knees.
