Baby in pain when going to the bathroom
Everytime Cadence tries to Poop she pushes sooo hard that her face turns bright red and she makes herself cry. I feel terrible.... The doctor said to giver her an ounce of water... is there anything else I should do

maybe bicycle her legs, the doctor didn't want us to do this every time - but you can "help her go" - gently insert a q-tip with some vaseline into her colie,
water should definitely help her....how old is she....is she going hard?

DD had a VERY hard time with this in the beginning. We gave her water, gaver her prune juice, bicycled her legs and massaged her belly. The prune juice and the massaging worked the best!

Re: Baby in pain when going to the bathroom
my daughter used to go through periods of this as well - she is probably still adjusting to the milk intake - digestion - we had to switch my daughter to Alimentium at that time bc we discovered this was going on because of her milk allergy.
But possibly adding an ounce of water to her milk can start to help her as the doctor suggested...it does it better.
