Baby is still so high!
Ladies- I am due a week from Monday and baby Matty has NOT dropped at all! I go back on Friday to the Dr. but at my last visit he was still "floating" and I had no dilation and no effacement.
Originally, my due date was December 2nd or 3rd and he pushed it up to 11/27 because  was measuring big at my 8 week sono- but I know when I O'd and based on my O date he should be born December 2nd....so, I don't think I'm having him by 11/27.
Sorry, just fat, tired and grummpy- and I know on Friday I'm going to hear that there is no change- Matty is still up by my ribs....

I'm sorry sweetie I know exactly how you feel. I'm due a few days before you and Hannah hasn't dropped either!!!
We can be fat and grumpy together!! Misery loves company
In the meantime let's do the drop down, dilate and efface dance

I am due dec 1st and this baby keeps going down then back up. I think they are doing another growth sono next week. I wonder if it doesnt descend if they take the baby through c-section. For the most part I heard the baby doesnt have to descend until labor anyhow. I feel your pain!

Paulette, my doctor said if I'm in labor and she goes back up they will do a c-section OR obviously if she doesn't drop and I don't go into active labor by Dec 1 they will induce and/or do a c-section depending on size and where she is

I sympathize. I am due today, and I my doctor confirmed that I'm still very high, not at all effaced, and 0 cm dilated! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

It doesn't necessarily mean anything When I went to the OB 2 or 3 days before I went into labor I was told that the baby was too high (they even did a sono to make sure she was turned right) and that I was not dilated at all... his exact words were "it's going to be a while".... he was wrong... I went into labor (a short one too) just a couple days later

Thanks ladies! I know- they can drop at any time!!
Jodi- if nothing happens, my Dr. said I will be induced on 12/4!

Maybe I can trade due dates with you! My due date is Dec 2nd, but I am hoping to go sooner. I was told I looked like I dropped and I feel like I gotta pee every 5 seconds!
