baby jogger city mini - thoughts?
so i think i've settled on this stroller, but i just wanted opinions from people on here (i've read TONS of reviews online). so far i love what i've heard, especially that it's lightweight (good for carrying up the subway steps), folds one handed to be pretty compact, and seems to last a while (i only want one stroller).
also, what do i need to make it compatible for an infant. we're probably not going to be using a stroller too much when the baby's really little (i plan to carry him/her, we'll see how that works) but i still want one that works just in case.

Re: baby jogger city mini - thoughts?
This is the stroller I'm getting. However, I'm in no rush to get it as I plan to use the snap and go as long as the baby is in the infant seat. I know you can buy the attachements to the city mini so you can snap the infant seat into it. But for now, for me, it's not that practical.

I was deciding between that and the Bugaboo -
I don't THINK you can convert it to use w/ the infant seat - but for an extra $50 you get just get the snap and go base......... The wheels aren't going to be anything like the baby jogger - but it will get you around ........

you definately can. There is an attachement you can buy specifically for the baby jogger city mini (I have it on my registry) so you can attach the infant seat to it.

Re: baby jogger city mini - thoughts?
seeing as i don't have a car (well, i do but it's at my parent's house and we won't be using it until the baby is 6 months at the earliest and that's IF we move out to li) i was planning on getting a car seat that could last the baby as long as possible - maybe the britax. is the snap and go a waste at that point? how long can they stay in the carrier?

Re: baby jogger city mini - thoughts?
I have the older version of this stroller and I feel it was one of the best out there. I love it- its lightweight, moves like a dream and folds easily. I highly recommend.
They sell a bar that you can use for an infant seat to attach on. My SIL had one- I used a snap and go so I didn't have it but she loved it. She had the Graco safe ride car seat.

Most kids outgrow their infant seat at 6-9 months, longer if they are on the small side.
