City jogger double mini or zooper tango??

anyone have the city mini?

why is it mini?

i find both to be the same price-ish (about $400)- i was going to order my stroller in the next few days, and i am dying for feedback....

I've been thinking about the Zooper Tango only because my Chicco infant seat fits in it!!! BUT DD hasn't wanted much to do with the stroller lately, so I'm nervous about spending $400 on a double when I'm getting a "4 year old, in good condition" double Macclaren for free from a friend.

I'm just torn as to whether I need a stroller that uses an infant seat or not. Honestly this decision has consumed more time in my life than naming both my children!!!!

I don't know why it's mini, but I seem to recall at least 2 of the 2 under 2 moms had the city jogger and got rid of it b/c the older child didn't like the seats in it.

And I have a horrible memory and can't recall which 2 moms it was. Sorry, I know this isn't all that helpful.

Just a FYI...I have been looking on craigslist and they have some being sold for less then 1/2 the original price. Not sure if you guys are interested in a used stroller though.

Don't have the Mini but was thinking of getting it. It has different wheels than the regular City Double and is much lighter-26 lbs. I'm still waiting to decide if I actually need a double but if I do that's what I'll choose. I hear great things.

just went to BBB, where they have the mini....its nice, i like it- $350...not TOO bad (but i have to order the car seat adapter $25)........

i dont know what to do...

see, i cant actually SEE the zooper tango- NO PLACE HAS IT!!! so i would just be ordering it, u know?

but at least i see the city mini and i LOVE how its so easy to maneuver....

I would look for the Zooper on craigslist. I know their is one for sale in NJ by me for $299 for a 2007 model that looks like it is in pretty good condition.

I had the city series double jogger, I LOVED IT, but my older DD hated it! She would only sit in it for walks around the neighborhood but got ticked everywhere else since she couldn't sit up far enough to people watch-it has bucket seats. The mini looks cool though, it's lighter and slimmer, and i sure hope they actually put a way in to fasten it closed when it's folded. Baby jogger told me the lock on the city series failed unless you did something with the wheels or took them off.

I would have gotten the zooper if i could test drive it. The sales guy at BBB told me to be careful with side by side doubles that don't have a middle wheel, something about sagging after use especially if you have 2 different age children.

Good luck! I swear my double stroller search was longer than any research i did for anything else-cars, house. it was exhausting.

We have the City Jogger which we LOVE but it's really best for outdoor use, walks, parks, etc. Not the mall, shopping, etc since it's bulky andheavy.

I agree with the above poster that the recline is a lot (since it's technically a jogger) so my older one gets frustrated too when she can't sit up really straight....this only happens when we're out at stores or something though

For park use, or walks around the neighborhood, it's AWESOME. We absolutely love it. But I guess it depends where you want to use the stroller.

I have a regular zooper stroller and love it if that helps. Their products are excellent.
