baby monitor question

Do I need one or two receivers? I live in a two bedroom apt, one level.

Re: baby monitor question

Thats one reason I was asking, I registered for the Graco Imonitor too, and its $90, so I've been feeling a little guilty. But I don't want to register for an inferior product just because it's cheap.

$90 bucks does not seem out of line for a registry item. I am sure you have stuff in all ranges-register for the one you want.

In an apartment you never know what monitor will work well -- for me the cheapest one was the only one that didn't pick up my neighbor's phone calls. Save the receipt and make sure to test it for a day before baby comes!

I agree...you might find this one to be too sensitive (especially if you have wooden floors) or not sensitive enough.

As for 2 receivers, I use 1 in our room and one to take in the kitchen b/c while washing dishes, I can't hear him at all. I also can take it outside with DD or to the garage.
