Francis Joseph 5th (DH's the 4th, so it's impt. to him) but we'll probably call him Joey, since there are a million Franks in the family.
I also like Matthew
All I need is a few babies to give these names to.

I told him when we have a baby, we're not naming him Frank unless DH can find a good name to call the baby. DH's middle name is Audemars and we're not calling him that.  I wonder if we'll ever find names we can agree upon.

I agree about the confusion aspect. There's STILL confusion w/him and his dad. DH got a parking violation a few months ago, it went to his old house, and his dad opened it. Needless to say, there was a lot of explaining to do. Plus, it's not a name I particularly like (even tho I love DH!!!). Once in a while DH says if the name is going to end, it won't be w/him. Our son will have to break the cycle if he wants. Still, DH says "we'll see" when I bring up the subject of the 5th. I have no problem w/Francis as a middle name. Every nite, I say a novena "Please God....girl, girl, girl....." 
Plus, doesn't that put a lot of pressure on a kid having to live up his name???

I wouldn't be disappointed if I had only girls. I know my parents will be less than thrilled if we named a son Frank since I'm Jewish and we don't name babies after people who are still alive. Also, DH and FIL have extremely waspy nicknames (Biff and Butch-yuck) and I can't imagine liking any of the other possible nicknames for a Frank IV.

What's up with this???  DH is a 3rd also and wants our son to be a 4th! It sounds like a King to me or something. How about some originality? AAAAAAAAH! We always argue when we talk about it, so I too am hoping for that girl! Although all of the girl names he likes are porn star names......so I guess I'm screwed either way.

I'm all for originality!!!!! His aunt and uncle have 2 grown kids, and they have the same names as their parents!!! Good grief.....give a kid a chance.....
I always thought (for boys) carrying on the last name was more important than the first name. On our wedding invitation, he also wanted Francis Joseph McKenna IV!!!
Maybe it's just me....I just don't get it....
