Baby Shower - am I missing anything?
My mom wanted to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything... does this seem like a complete list of things needed to plan a baby shower?
- Location
- Cake
- Food/catering
- Beverages (do you need alcoholic drinks?)
- Decorations (including paper goods)
- Favors
- Invitations
I've planned a couple of showers on my own, but I have prego brain, lol.

Oh yeah, GAMES and PRIZES!!! Good one!
I am doing the guestlist so they'll have that.
No alcohol then? We're having men there too (our siblings, uncles, and DH's very close friends). My mom thought at least to buy beers, but I didn't think that was necessary... not sure though! What say you?

Yesi I *definitely* suggest some beer and maybe wine at the minimum; it'll keep the guys happy and they won't get as antsy!!! Is that bad to say  Ive gone to numerous Jack & Jill showers, there was always some kind of alcohol, but beer/wine would be FINE.
Also are you doing any kind of wishing well? She might want to rent that, if you're doing one...

The best, most tolerable, showers I have been to (both baby and bridal) have served some form of booze.
In general the guests get bored of watching you open gifts- especially the MEN if you are having them!
Beer and wine would be fine if you want to do that!

Oh yes Lupe, music! Good one... Although I'm SOOOO HOPING my wonderful friend's DJ hubby will just download a lot of great songs onto my iPod for me to play at the shower Should I mail you my iPod now or later?

I didn't have one - but sometimes the Mommy to be will have a special chair to sit in - one of those white wicker ones.
A camera so someone can take pictures!
Some supplies to make the silly hat of bows.
