Baby shower locations in Nassau & W. Suffolk
My friends sister is planning a baby shower for my friend. She lives out of state and was curious on opinions of what places are good and bad preferably Nassau but even Western Suffolk.
I want to hear it all...Good, bad, ugly! TIA

Mine was at La Famiglia in Plainview. My family was upset because when they called the week of to confirm, they were like "what baby shower"?!  Then they never ordered the cake. I don't think a lot of people noticed/cared but I know my family was very upset about it.
I went to a baby shower at Sergio's in Massapequa, and while it's a little outdated inside, I had a really good time, the food was good as well. I saw an ad in my local paper they charge $16.95 pp there.

Mine was at Bella Napoli in Farmingdale; they had wonderful service, the food was great & they were reasonable.

my friends had mine at cafe piccollo in bellmore, it was fantastic, very inexpensive and the service was great
i got my cake from Riesterers in west hempstead, and my favors as well..

I second this place. I've been to a few events there, as well as just regular dinner and the food is excellent. I also can't believe I forgot to mention the Irish Coffee Pub. Another great place. I've been there a few times. I think the town is Islip Terrace?

We like this location as well. Also Domenico's in Levittown is a nice location & they use Dortoni for the cake.
I had mine at the Milleridge, but I would not recommend for a shower.
I also like Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City, and Cafe Testarossa in Plainview/Syosset.

I had my rehearsal dinner at Diane's in Roslyn and it was great for a private party. Food is great, service was great and the upstairs room is perfect for 50ish people.

Sal's place in Massapequa. I have pics in my 'nikolas' album. They were VERY reasonable, had delicious food and it was already decorated foor the season.

MY baby shower was at The Milleridge Inn. It was fantastic!! The room, food, and service was great!!! My mom and sis ordered the cake from Dortoni's and it was scrumptious!!!!!!!!!!

We had my sons christening at piccolo and have used them for catering, they are awesome.
My shower was at macarthur park in rockville centre, it was good, but the room we had was a little small.
ETA: I waitress at Runyons in east meadow and they are really reasonable and from what I have seen they do really nice parties. They have great space also.
