baby shower wishing well- do the gifts get wrapped? do you put who's it from?

i cant remember how it works... do i need to wrap it? or put ribbon with a tag who's it from?

people do both...i usually wrap it and tag it just so it looks festive! if it is a book wishing well then i inscribe the book to the baby.
