Baby Sitter "etiquette" question
If you go in to the next hour, do you pay the full hour, 1/2 hour or is it totally prorated? Also, if the sitter arrives early, do you figure that as the start time or the time they were supposed to arrive?

If I have the sitter come to me the time starts when we TOLD her to be there. If we go into the next hour, I go to the next half hour (so if we get home at 10:15, I pay her to 10:30).
If I'm dropping off, the time starts when I should have been there and goes til I pick up (I prorate to the next half hour as well).

This is what we do as well.
Us too.
Also, if I get home early, and don't tell the babysitter in advance, then I still pay her for the full day (so she normally works 8:30 to 6:30. If I get home 5:30, I still pay her till 6:30)
