baby tears edit with new question
when do babies get their tears? Dd seems to cry but we never see any tears....
DD is almost 6 months and i dont see tears
Should i speak to the doctor about this?
there was once or twice when she was about 2-3 months that her eyes would water up and one tear would fall, but that is about it (i can literally count how many times that happened on 1 hand). she also rarely cries...she gets fussy a lot, but the occasional times that i would consider it a cry there arent any tears

pretty much from birth with DD which was odd...

I didn't think they got them until later, except when we brought DD home from the hospital and she WAILED the entire way home. I saw them then.

I think like 5-6 mo. DD1 used to get them in one eye pretty early though, like 1-2 mo. Now they only get them if they are for real crying. Mommy is onto their tearless fake manipulative cries.

dd1 is 3 and very rarely has tears. it has to be something good for her to tear. she cries and whines ALL THe time haha shes 3
dd2 is 4 months and has always had tears

I started noticing them about 2 months. She rarely cries so seeing tears gets me so upset.

Pretty much immediately. My FIL still talks about how DS was the only newborn he's ever seen to cry real tears to this day.
