Baby Walker that wont tip over?
DS will be 9 months tomorrow and has been pulling himself to stand for the last two weeks. The past couple of days he has been frustrated because once he is standing he doesnt know what to do. I am ordering an activity table from Amazon and thought a walker would be good too, except in all of the reviews, they indicate that they tip over or someone needs to hold it otherwise their weight pushes it out from under them. Are there any walkers designed for an infant just starting to pull up to stand? TIA!

Re: Baby Walker that wont tip over?
my ped strongly advises against walkers in all cases, because he sees many brain injuries as a result of children falling in them.
He said an exersaucer or jumperoo is fine.
I'm sorry this doesn't help with your original question Just thought I'd post an FYI, in case.

Re: Baby Walker that wont tip over?
I also went the way of not using a walker. We have a baby einstein excercauser that DS has been in since like 5mo old; (hes almost 9mo). I just bought the rainforest jumperoo from FP which DS uses and loves at his daycare. The seat moves around so he can turn himself, much like in the excercauser.
I think you will do fine with using either one. DS started trying to bounce in the exercauser so i bought the jumperoo. He loves it!

Re: Baby Walker that wont tip over?
Thanks foer the response. I wasnt looking for a walker that DS would go IN. More like this one....
But I need one that wont slip out from under him or tip over when he is pulling himself up on it.
P.S. Now that DS can move around, he refuses to be in anything that "confines" him...we have an exersaucer and a jumperoo. He wont even sit in his playard because it is "confining."

Re: Baby Walker that wont tip over?
never got one. DS uses everything else to push along. I sometimes think those walkers are too fast.
He has the activity table he walks around the whole room, the bar stools, any taller toys like his Little People Garage, etc.
He's too big for the exersaucer, but he walks around it on the outside now
