Baby Wearing Moms Please come in...
Okay so I know this has been posted 100000 times but I am still confused.
We have the peanut sling - never worked for us. We also have the baby bjorn but DS is close to the weight limit so that is not going last much longer.
I love carrying DS and really want to get something to use ..I have looked at the ergo and becco but I wanted something that DS can face out.
Any reco's?
TIA

I have a Beco and love it---from what I understand its better for their hips/back to face in. I would wear DS on my back and he could see everything

So if you wear DC facing in and they are older - ie 6mths and up are they not constantly straining to look forward? I imagine they would be but maybe I am wrong. and the thought of having to put them on my back intimidates me.

My DC never had a problem in the forward facing position.

I love Wraps, I have the Moby, and Sleepytime, I prefer the sleepytime. It is really intimidating at first, but I watched youtube to learn how to tie it. I love wraps now!

The Lillibaby Everywear is similar to the Ergo but the baby can face outward. BBB sells it.

I love my Ergo, the baby can't face out, but that would be weird on the back anyway.

Wearing the baby on the front as they get that big is tough on your back. I've put DC in the front position recently, and they are small for their age - only 17lbs at 1 year (which is probably the size of lot of 6 month olds). After 15 minutes my back was in agony. When I wear them on my back, it is so much more comfortable. And they love it.

I loved my Mei Tei when I had DD. DS never cared for it though.

I love the Beco. I bought it when DS was about 7.5 months old. I don't use it often, but he seems to like it. I've worn it in both the front and back.
