Dh and I like Don Ricardo's and Argyle Grill.
We had a bad experience and food at The Carriage House.

The Carriage House - our favorite. And we are the pickiest food snobs ever when it comes to restaurants
The Post Office is good for a laid back 'pub' type place - Good food there too .......
There's also a good Mexican place - but I don't remember the name

Argyle Grill for upscale bar/pub food.
Barrique for a very extensive wine list and tapas.
La Nonnina (West Islip) for Italian.
Don Ricardos is good for Mexican.
Not a fan of the Post Office, Gemelli's or the Carriage House.

--Sakura and Fancy Lee both for delicious sushi (I highly dislike Kotobuki). Fancy Lee is a more trendy Asian Fusion place with Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food
--Argyle for American cuisine
--Barrique has good tapas and the watermelon salad is ah-mazing but the service has been horrendous the past couple times I've gone
--Post Office if you just want casual pub-type food

This place is small, but the food is always good.
I love that the menu is small too and they change it up a lot.

Depends on our mood:
all time fave is Carriage House
Casual Horace and Sylvias
Really casual Post Office
Italian Il Villagio
Mexican Don Ricardos
Oh we also love Tricia's Cafe. we order and take out from there all the time. Awesome Caesar salad, wings, sandwiches etc.
We tried Monsoon for apps and drinks. I was not impressed but I do love Bohlsen restaurants so I will give it a second chance for sure.
