Babymoon Rave w/pic overload!
We went to Mohonk Mountainhouse in New Paltz and it was a perfect 2 day trip!! DH was excited b/c he thinks he saw Mikey from American Chopper there 
We took this picture of the hotel after we climbed a 325 ft mountain! (Yes, being 20 weeks preggo!):

Wow... beautiful! Thanks for sharing! Where is it? DH and I were looking to go away for a long weekend. First we were thinking VT or something, but that's still a long drive.

Sounds great I stayed there with my family years ago it is a great resort - Steven King was staying there at the same time we were - he apparently used to go there frequently to write. Sounds like a great babymoon.

I love it there. I went to undergrad at SUNY New Paltz and was an RA in the dorms. One of our team building exercises was climbing those same rocks. All of us were amateurs and brought like one bottle of water between the 7 of us that we ended up sharing LOL.

there was mostly hiking
canoeing/row boats/paddle boats
indoor pool
carraige rides
golf & mini golf
skiing (in the winter)
...theres lots of stuff, check the site.
THe food was very yummy!

i cant believe thats where u went!! We were trying to book that for our babymoon and it was booked solid the weekend we wanna go, we decided on the catskills instead...im jealous, it looks BEAUTIFUL!!

Our house in New Paltz is on the other side of the Mountain. You can see the tower from the backyard....
Surprisingly Ive never been to the Mountain House though..

It's in New Paltz, about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Suffolk.
There's also a spa there, which is great. The food is amazing.
