babysitter in massapequa park?
i am desparate... it seems that there is no teenage girl in the area who watches kids.....
does any one have anyone that they use that they can trust in this area?
We dont go out that often at all, but i would love someone that we could use when we need to...
any recommendations would be fantastic, ive looked on craigslist - but for some reason am a bit hesitant!

Check with your pediatrician and the library. I was hesitant about craigslist also but if you do a good job screening and checking references it can be OK.

i dont know what hours youre looking for, but if you FM me them, i have a GREAT babysitter who will drive to mass park. shes a early 20 something year old college student, whos working at tutor time with all ages..ive known her for years, and ive used her for Melania a few times so far..and to let you know how much i trust her, ive NEVER in 11 years had a babysitter for ds that wasnt family..i only NOW decided to leave dd with her..and shes the best!

There is a babysitters fair going on at the library in MP in Oct. I can't remember the exact date but if you check the website or call, they will have the info. I have heard it's a great resource for finding on in the area.
