Babysitting Co-operative
Well since I live in a really sort of "right on" neighborhood we are starting a babysitting co-operative and I wanted to share it with you guys because its such a great idea.
We haven't set out all the ground rules yet, but he basics are that everyone who comes into the co-operative starts with a certain amount of credits, say 10 credits. So you can earn and spend credits by babysitting for each other. It will cost 2 credits for a sitting session after midnight, also, a bottle of wine or some lovely ice cream is customary to leave for the sitter.
Anyway, thought it was a really good idea and wanted to share.

Re: Babysitting Co-operative
Ive heard of this quite often the past few years. Some mommy groups are quite successful with babysitting coops. I think its an awesome idea

Re: Babysitting Co-operative
Thanks for that, I have bookmarked it to show to my friends in the Chorlton Bad Mothers Club.
If I lived on LI I would also suggest that you girls start babygroups in your neighborhoods...they are a lifesaver in the first few months of a new mommies life!
