Bachelorette party at 32 weeks pregnant
Would you committ to going to a bachelorette party at 32 weeks pg? It is overnight at Mohegan Sun.
This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea if I will up for something like that...
They are doing dinner, bars/club, spa in the morning.

Bachelorette party at 32 weeks pregnant
I went at 23 weeks to my SIL's bachelorette party, her sister was 35 weeks. It was on Fire Island, me and her sister left the bars early and relaxed a lot more than the other girls. I think I would have been up for it 2 weeks ago, even this week, so long as I had someone to drive me. I would just skip the bars/clubs.

It really depends how you are feeling and how close you are to the person. I have one at 33 weeks for a family member but its a spa during the day and dinner at night so nothing crazy. I wasn't willing to do anything out of state. I said NYC would be my max of traveling.

I don't think I would go if it were me. I would not be up for the bars/clubs. If it were local and it was something low key like dinner then I would probably go.

like someone said it before, it really depends on how you are feeling. I know around that time I was feeling tired and couldn't really sit for long periods of time without being uncomfortable. I wouldn't commit on it but be on stand-by just in case

If I were in your position, I would pass on the bachelorette party. I would totally be game for a local (LI/NYC) dinner/brunch/lunch spa day, but a Mohegan Sun/Atlantic City casino bar/dance club bachelorette didn't even appeal to me when I wasn't pregnant -- not my scene. It also sounds like something you would have to commit to (both in attendance and probably financially) in advance which is tricky given that you won't know how you'll feel then.

Bachelorette party at 32 weeks pregnant
Thanks everyone. I am leaning towards telling them it has to be a game time decision and if it can't then I need to decline. I don't want to say yes and flake or say yes and then cough out a lot of wasted money on hotel, etc.

If you don't mind going just for dinner and the spa then go for it. I wouldn't want to be hanging at the bars at night but the rest would be fine. I had one around that time and we did dinner, a comedy club, and then I headed home before the clubs and skipped staying at the hotel (along with half the guests who were also pregnant). If staying over wasn't something I could skip I might have been more hesitant.

With my 1st DD I went to Boston overnight for a Bach party at 32 weeks and then did a limo wine tour the week after for my sisters Bach party. I was fine for both. If you want to go, go.

I think this is a perfect way to deal with it.
I was under house arrest aka complications. I never would have thought that's what would happen but pregnancies are day by day IMO.

Re: Bachelorette party at 32 weeks pregnant
I went to my friends Bachelorette party in the city at 34 weeks. I skipped the pole dancing but went to the hotel for pre dinner drinks (water for me) went to dinner than hung out in the suite (stripper came). I left around 2am. They were still going strong. I couldn't stay over was exhausted wanted my own bed.

I think it would depend on how close I was to the person and the others going. If they were luke warm friends I would decline. But if it was my college group or my closest HS friends I would probably go, as long as they were ok with me being a bit of a party pooper. I'd go to dinner, maybe even one or two bars, and then head back the room and watch TV.

Re: Bachelorette party at 32 weeks pregnant
I didn't go to one at 25 weeks because they were taking a limo out east and I would have been at the mercy of drunk people to get home! I went with my sisters to ac for my 30th bday and I was 30 weeks. I was in bed by like 12 and my sisters stayed out.... If it was with anyone other than them no way would I have gone though. I wasn't comfortable sleeping or staying up late so in my opinion it's not worth it.,,

Re: Bachelorette party at 32 weeks pregnant
Hard to say because everyone is different.
I could have ran a marathon at 32 weeks pregnant!
But, I have friends that were exhausted the entire pregnancy. Other friends who ended up with JD or very bad swelling, had trouble walking.
So, it is hard to say. My entire pregnancy was a dream, I was so lucky.
I guess you could plan to go but play it safe and make sure they know that if it is too much for you -- while they club, you'll go back to the room. The spa, dinner, etc. should be great for you. The clubbing and that stuff might be too much. So, try and go and do what you can do and relax for what you can't. I think that's your best bet.
Keep in mind, there's smoking in Mohegan Sun - all over. It's a lot. I was just there recently to see Alan Jackson in concert and walking through the casino and stuff - it was .

This is a good approach.
In general, I'd have been ok with going to a bachelorette at 32 weeks. The drive would've been annoying since I would've had to pee often, but once you're there it would be fun. Though I'd probably opt out of the bars/club and just stick to dinner and the spa.
ETA: You can always get your own room and cancel if you aren't comfortable going. This way nobody is dependent upon your $$$.

Bachelorette party at 32 weeks pregnant
It really depends on how you feel. I went to a bachelorette party when I was a little over 38 weeks. I actually ended up having my son 2 days later! I had a great time and I was glad that I went!
