back cracking?
My back has been killing me, and i used to have my DH crack it with me laying face down on the bed. Since I can't be laying on my stomach like that, is there any way I could crack my back??
On a side note, did anyone go to a chiropractor during their pregnancy? I am reading online that it could make a huge difference..

back cracking?
Your back will likely hurt whether or not you crack it, unfortunately. It's because your belly is getting bigger and putting strain on your back.
Personally, I would never go to a chiropractor.

Re: back cracking?
I would not recommend anyone who was not a professional do anything to your back. I had pretty bad back issues before getting pregnant and I am a teacher so I was constantly on my feet and had to get up and down from the floor and small chairs. It was brutal on my back needless to say. I saw my chiropractor regularly throughout my pregnancy but he would only do some slight neck adjustments. He used some other techniques to relieve my lower back pain but definitely no cracking. He was very specific and careful about what he did, It helped me a lot, I don't know how I would've gotten by without him!

back cracking?
I've been seeing my chiro fairly regularly throughout my pregnancy. It has been a HUGE help and I'm fairly certain the baby turned head down because of an adjustment. Just make sure they are trained and have a drop down table :) my doc is located in deer park if you want his info :)

Re: back cracking?
I don't see anything wrong with going to a chiropractor- pregnant or not- as long as they are a professional and know what they're doing. I didn't have a lot of back pain through my pregnancy- mostly hip pain, which was helped big time by sleeping with my Snoogle pregnancy pillow. I'd recommend trying that and maybe prenatal massage as well.

Re: back cracking?
I saw my Chiro regularly during my pregnancy and she was wonderful. I'm still going almost 3 years later. Make sure you see someone who specializes in prenatal chiropractic. My chiro uses the Webster technique and a special drop table so you can lay on your stomach and part of the table under the belly drops down. It's actually very comfy.

I have no advice, I just needed to say that I've scrolled past this post no less than 6 times and I keep reading it as "butt cracking" every.single.time. Clearly preggo brain is in full effect today

back cracking?
My chiropractor saved me during pregnancy. I didn't go regularly before but started seeing him when I started having lower back and hip pain. It's way different seeing a chiropractor when pregnant - there is no "back cracking" but very gentle adjustments that fix everything. Just make sure you go to one that works on pregnant women.
