Back from my Dr.

She will have everything that I passed tested to see if it was something chromosomal that caused it...

She said it might have been the progesterone and/or the SCH that caused the m/c.

But she said when we decide to try again i should start taking the progesterone at the time of ovulation....

She did an exam and didnt see any tissue... she also did a sono to confirm and all there was was some blood clots... which i expected...

Technically because my last pregnancy was ectopic they dont really consider me high risk and they wouldnt do any testing...

i'm so sorry you are going through this Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon it's good your doctor is trying to find some answers for you. my RE doesn't consider my ectopic a "loss" either....it blows my mind but i can see where he's coming from. in his words the baby grew, just in the wrong spot. but to us, it feels like loss, right? ughh. i hope you are healing (emotionally and otherwise). please FM if you ever need to talk Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm so sorry.

I think your doctor has a good plan. It can't hurt to treat for the progesterone next time. That is what I am doing now even though we don't know if it was the cause of my miscarriage but it gives me peace of mind that I'm doing something anyway just in case.

i am so sorry.Chat Icon

for subchorionic hematoma you need lovenox, which is a blood thinner, not so much progesterone. i mean you might need prog for other issue, but to address hematoma, they would want you on blood thinners.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am feeling the same exact way, I was really pulling for you girl. I am so saddened by your loss - just know you are not alone.

I too had a sch - mine was HUGE. I never had a heartbeat though, just an empty sac and the big blood clot and I have no answers on what happened to me or what went wrong. UGh.

Also from what I have found, there doesnt seem to be conclusive info about the hematoma and what causes them and if blood thinners are needed or not. I think only immune panels and tests would show that right?

Are you seeing an RE? I like that your dr. is testing the tissue and doing the progesterone but I think some more things should be run, but that is JMHO. But I dont know if you are seeing an RE already or not..I cannot remember if you ever mentioned it. If you are not then you may want to consider it. I have only had 1 loss but I am going to see what to be safe and just see what they say and my ins. co. will cover it…FM me if you want more details.

The problem is that most Drs wont consider me hi-risk and in need of an RE because an ectopic isnt considered a "loss" in their pov... so really i only had 1 loss... i guess we'll see what happens when they get the info back from testing the tissues...

A few of my sisters friends see hi-risk Drs. and my SIL has a hi-risk Dr also. I'm honestly just going to take the spring and summer off and let my body heal from the last 6 months... we'll start trying again in August/September...
