Back from the doctor - endometrial biopsy - horrible
I just got back from my OBGYN - they were supposed to do the endometrial biopsy.
First of all, no AF so things were going great I thought. They did a PG test - BNF - not a shock.
Then they had me on the table and clamped down on my cervic and all I could do was cry. It hurt so so much, just as much as when they did it for the HSG.
Then she tried and tried and tried to get in to my cervix (which was closed tight) and she used tool after tool. Finally she inserted some type of tube to try and get that in and open things up and then insert the tool again. Nothing worked. Now 10 mins at least have gone by and my cervix is still clamped down on. I can't stop crying and wishing Mike was with me.
Then I feel tugging and pulling and burning while she is still trying to get through my cervix to get the biopsy. She had to stop - she couldn't get in.
She said sometimes they have to sedate the patient so they are totally relaxed and she can pull the uterus down and get the biopsy but it's too painful to do it when Im awake.
then I start bleeding - which is just great. Not from AF but from the procedure itself.
I drove myself home hysterically crying in pain both physically and emotionally. Had a good cry on DH shoulders when I came home and then took a vicodin for the pain because they always kick in fast - and its working already.
I feel horrible, still in pain and just wiped out...I hope to God my appointment with the RE goes better on Thursday. Days like this I just can't take it.
I'm sorry for the pity party...I just needed to get this out and who understands better then you all?
I'm just so  right now.

kathy, i am sorry, but...i can't wait till you go to Reproductive Specialists....your experiences with that ob/gyn are horrendous.......:( Why on earth would they put you through all that :( ......
I am praying for you girl....you don't deserve this...I can't wait until you are pregnant and even better yet .......a mom :)

Kathy .. I already FMd you but I just wanted to add lots of hugs and lots of support for you.. I am so so very sorry you had such an awful experinece today, it just isn't fair and I feel awful on your behalf

I am so, so, so sorry to hear that you had such an awful experience and you were all alone.  I'm so happy you're home now. What's the next step? Are they going to sedate you? Maybe you should just wait to see what your RE thinks you should do.

I can not believe all that you have been through. It is not supposed to be this hard. I hope that you dont have to go through that again and if you do you should do it with drugs!!! and a better doctor wouldnt hurt...
I really thinkRSofNY will have some different opinions for you. 6/30th right. That is right around the corner.

god, i am SOOOO sorry.....i don't post much - mainly because i am just so upset about my own situation to even talk about it - but, geeez, when do we all get a break???
it's almost like i get more angry than sad when i read about the things we all go thru.
kathy, i know that there is nothing i can say to make you feel better - just know that you are not alone and soon all these sad days are going to pay off for you and for all of us!!!

oh Kathy... I'm soooo sorry that you have to go through this. I can't wait until all this pain & heartache passes to the point where the pitter patter of little feet completely makes you forget about what you had to experience.

Kathy...I cannot beleive you are going through this. The Dr. sounds HORRIBLE! I hope you like the doctors at RSONY. I can't believe what you are going through. I don't know if I could even persevere under those circumstances, you are a strong woman. I can't do anything but send you more and and hope that you come on here Thursday with a better attitude. And please tell them what you have been going through.

OMG I'm so so so so sorry you had to go through that... and all alone!! You poor thing.
