back to work tomorrow
I have to go back to work tomorrow and I DONT WANT TO. I have been home with Olivia for a yr now and the thought is breaking my heart. I know that I will get used to it, but not seeing her all day will beat me up inside.
Please tell me it will be ok

You will be OK. Put pictures around your office/desk and check in on her a few times. It does get easier

It will be tough, but you WILL get through it, and it will get easier
Ask your MIL, I think she saw me my first day back-- I was a mess. I didn't even bother wearing make-up b/c I knew I would cry & look like a clown all day.

Christine, try to look at it the other way around . . . you were fortunate and blessed to be able to stay home with her for a year. Now it is time for Olivia to venture out on a daily basis, and for you to get back into your old routine.

ok it will def. be so very hard. she brings such joy into my life but I know I will be helping my family and carrying the health ins. so i know I will be contributing now..

hugs to you! i am in the same exact boat-been with DD for 14 months and start tomorrow too. i am beyond sad but know it really will be ok. i take comfort in what the others who have BTDT say that it will get easier. i hope so!

I feel your pain. going back to work tomorrow. I am looking forward to it though. My DS is being watched by family and I do know that he will be taken care of and spoiued. i will miss him dearly but I plan on checking in on him a couple of times each day. Good luck tomorrow to all the teachers.
