Backyard party in October?
My DD 2nd birthday is Oct 7th. I was thinking of have a party in my yard. My question is, Do you think it will be too cold for a backyard birthday party?

We have had one every year for the past 4 years for DS ( his is Oct 12)...Only one year ( last year) did we end up renting a tent because of the scare of a rain storm and it still ended up not raining  Never cold, always a light jacket and even then sometimes none at all !

DD#1's birthday is Oct. 6th. We had a backyard party last year using a tent company for about 60 family members. The weather was phenomenal!! I didn't expect it to be so warm, about 70 degress, so it was a pleasant surprise! I say go for it!!

Not sure where you are located, but I used Gabowabo tent rental (chairs and tables too) and they were amazing! I'm in Suffolk county. Very reasonably priced, courteous, clean and quick!! Gabowabo

I think early Oct is usually pretty safe for outside. We had our wedding outside on Oct 13th a few years ago and it was beautiful!

I think early october is great for an outiside party! We usually have a pumpkin carving party late in October and the weather is still nice! :)
