Bad Cramping...
Just wanted to see what your thoughts are about this...
For the last three hours, I've had horrible abdominal and back cramps every hour for about 8-9 minutes in duration. My entire abdomen is rock hard and so cramped up I feel like I can't even breathe.
From what I understand, BH contractions are not painful, right? Now that I think of it, I did a lot of walking around today and I could have drank more water. Could this have caused painful cramping? Should I call my doctor? At one point, I almost made dh take me to the hospital.
What are your thoughts? Wait it out, or call my doc?

All of the BH I have experienced were very sporatic and not "painful' just a tightening feeling, and have never lasted that long ...You definately may have overdid it today, but I would just put a call in to your OB, to put yourself at ease in case he wants to check on you  In the meantime, put your feet up and drink !

I remember my BH being a little painful.
It was probably from all the walking you did today. I would drink alot of water and make sure you are hydrated and lay down for the rest of the night with your feet up and relax. If the cramps dont stop give your dr. a call in the morning.

Yes it could have been from the walking and need for more water, but I would call your Dr anyway, just to be sure

I have found that I was getting some slight cramping when I did too much-- the thing is, that is the only way my body was telling me I was doing too much, so it's hard to manage. I have just learned that I am at the point where I need to take it easier. Hopefully you are feeling better.
When I spoke to the nurse at my doc's office, she said if the cramps were really persistent, they needed to make sure they were not contractions. I was only getting them at night-- after like 9PM, and they have since ceased since I figured out what was causing them.
