Please help...6 weeks and bad cramping....
I am 6 weeks and just started feeling bad cramping--much worse than normal PMS, and unlike anything I have felt so far. It is uncomfortable to sit.
Is this normal? There is no bleeding or spotting, but this is painful and v. uncomfortable.  Should I call my doctor?

It passed, and was only about 5 mins, so I don't think I am going to bother calling.

I had really bad cramping during the first trimester. I had a lot of side pain too. Everything is stretching so it's probably normal, especially if there's no bleeding. You can always call your doctor for peace of mind though.

I had some really bad cramping early on too. There is so much going on in the beginning (streching, etc.) that I'm pretty sure you're fine. If you're worried call your doctor though!
