Re: bad news
Don't react without the facts!!! Trust in the natural process, whatever the outcome. But please don't give up hope yet.....there are plenty of pregnant women who had empty sacs early on! It's not over for you yet.

Re: bad news
seems too early for me. I'm one to take something and run with it but in this case I really feel like you DO have a chance.
It's not over just yet so keep wishing on those stars.

Re: bad news
The same thing happened to me. They kept asking me if I was wrong about the dates. I went for bloodwork every other day for a week. My levels went up, so that was good. At the sono a week later it was still looking iffy. It wasn't until 2 wweeks later that I was satisfied that it was there. Don't give up hope.

Re: bad news
Wait for the blood test and definitely do another sono, I had nothing (what might have been the start of a sac) on my sono at what the md thought was 5wks and an empty sac a week later...3 weeks later at what should have been 9wks based on lmp I had a baby and a heartbeat...I was really 8wk3d...You are so early on a few days really makes a difference...don't lose hope!
ETA: my beta at first appt was 900 something and at 2nd when there was just a sac with nothing inside my beta was 12,000 something.

Re: bad news
My 5 week sono showed a sac too, but please, even though you charted, do not assume that the dates are an exact science. Sperm can live for 3-5 days. Based on how many weeks I was when they finally saw my peanut's HB, it came out during a time we did not BD at all. Implantation can take a few days on top of it. At 5 wks they saw a sac, at six they saw a sac and a yolk sac and were telling me all about m/c. I flipped out, took a step back, and saw a different doc a week and a half later and there was my peanut, heart beating away! TBH I did not have that many PG symptoms either...you are early. Some women don't get symptoms at all...something that also isn't an exact science. No matter the numbers, please wait a few more weeks until your next sono. If I had listened to the other doctor I would have d&c'd a viable embryo based on numbers and a very early sono.
ETA: Also, just wanted to add, when we saw the sac at 5 wks, my #'s were 2510, 6 wks my #'s were over 22,000, which is why they were talking all about m/c and d&c. Those numbers are a range and you need to wait if your numbers are high and increasing. At 8,000 they were telling me that there should have been a HB, and there wasn't until my next sono.
