Bagged lunch ideas.

So my DD starts Kindergarten in September and it's a full day so they have lunch time. I'm stumped on what to pack her. She will eat sandwiches so i will send those often , but i know she will be eyeing the school lunch since they have different (and usually unhealthy) choices.

Any ideas on some healthy, fun lunch ideas to keep bagged lunch exciting?

ETA: DH and I will allow her to buy once in a while- but would rather her bring a bagged lunch.

My DS does a mix of buying and bringing. He likes turkey and rice cakes with a string cheese, yogurt, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, nutella sandwiches, bagel with cheese, and that's pretty much what we cycle through. Then always a healthy and not so healthy snack. Things like Gogurt, fruit, apple sauce, carrot sticks, celery, Goldfish crackers, fruit snacks, cookies, rice crispy treats, chips, granola bars, cereal bars, etc...

My DS would only pack lunch last year. A few things we packed for him....

Croissant with cream cheese and honey.

Bagel with cream cheese.

Waffles with peanut butter.

Homemade muffin with yogurt.

Matzo crackers with cream cheese.

Chocolate chip pancakes or waffles. Apple butter on the side.

Oatmeal or mac and cheese in a thermos.

A few times he asked for lunchables because his friends had them.

Every lunch I sent in fruit. Banana, apple or apple slices, mandarin oranges, strawberries, blueberries, etc...

Plus he would get either applesauce or yogurt, depending on what fruit we sent in.

I never packed snack with lunch. He had snack earlier in the day, and he gets one when he gets home from school.

Cheese and crackers with grapes
Veggies & dip and pretzels with a yogurt drink
Ham and cheese roll up with carrot sticks
Cereal bar with yogurt and fruit
