baking cupcakes
ok this may sound like a dumb question...i have to bake cupcakes tonight...i need a dozen for tomorrow and a dozen for sunday. i use the pillsbury box mix that makes a batch of 24...can i just use half the mix and half the ingredients tonight and save the other half for sunday? or should i make them all tonight and hope they are still somewhat fresh for sunday? my concern is the recipe calls for 3 eggs - so splitting an egg in half wont be precise....

Re: baking cupcakes
What you can do is make all the cupcakes when you need to and freeze the ones you need for Sunday. Take them out on Saturday to defrost and decorate.
If you open the package, and save it for another day, I doubt it will stay as fresh.
Add a drop of almond to the cupcake batter, it will taste delicious!!!

Re: baking cupcakes
I think if you stored them correctly, they should still be fresh. just frost the sunday ones later, not tonight.
