Bank Owned House ?
Do you typically how much less you can offer? I am guessing it would be less then you would ask for a "normal" house.

it depends, most likely the house is already at a lower price because it is bank owned and they want to get rid of it. We are going through this right now, we put a bid on a house that is bank owned and the price was already $50,000 below value, so we bid just $4000 below their asking price and asked the bank to pay all closing costs. We are now waiting to hear back, this is one draw back, it takes forever when you are dealing with a bank!
