Baptism thank you card question...
I really wanted to include a picture in the card (or possibly make one in Photoshop) but I can't find any backgrounds, etc. that I like to make it work.
SO, if I were to do a shutterfly type card with her pic on the front and a saying inside, would that be acceptable? Would we seem ungrateful if I didn't write in everyone's card?
Also, should I sign them manually or have the closing printed also???
I have ALWAYS written out my own cards but I think I'm just burnt out.

Re: Baptism thank you card question...
I went thru shutterfly and had a lot of people call me and tell me they loved them - but it might be a lot of work for you if you have a lot of people we only had about 17 people for DD's. I took three pics - one of DD in her dress, on group pic we took at the church of everyone, and then one of whoever we were thanking (we took couple and family shots at the brunch so I could do that. So with the three pics on the cover I added Thank You. Then I hand wrote notes into all the cards thanking them etc. as I would with any thank you. I'm not a huge fan of preprinted thank yous - but that is just me.

I got Clover's done at Walmart. I uploaded her Christening pic and selected a plain background. Picked them up in an hour. I didn't have the patience or time to write them out.

Re: Baptism thank you card question...
I think most people--especially the older folks, would appreciate a handwritten message. If you're going with the preprinted saying, I think I would at least sign the names myself. Either way, I don't think it makes you appear ungrateful though.

I definitely think that I will sign our names and possibly even write them myself...I've never done it any other way and I am really on the fence about starting to now....thanks everyone!

Re: Baptism thank you card question...
I used a background from kodakgallery.com with 4 pictures and I decided to do a printed message. I was just so burnt from writing thank yous from my shower and then for the gifts I received when my DS was first born. I had the following message printed on the cards:
Thank you for adding to the joyous spirit of my Christening day with your love and generous gift. Love, Alexander
I made it from my son.

What kind of background are you looking for?
eta. I wouldn't care about receiving pre-printed ones, but I would need to sign them if it were me sending them.
