Bar Mitzvah favor question
My brother is having his bar mitzvah at the end of the month and my step mom was wondering if she has to give favors to adults to or just the kids. I couldnt remember from mine b/c it was 13 years ago, just wondering if anyone knew this info or not

The only Bar Mitzvah I have been to, they gave to everyone. It was a donation to a couple of charities and they gave the LiveStrong bracelets, so that may make a difference.

I think just the kids is fine-- We don't usually give favors at weddings-- so why would we for bar mitzvahs?

Growing up, I went to lots of them, and from what I remember, it was just the kids that got them.

According to my MIL Jewish people dont believe in favors. I am not sure how true this is or if it was just an excuse for her daughter to get away without buying them.
