Barnes & Noble to sell Michael Vick's book!
They are Disgusting to partner with Vick! I
Will not shop at Barnes and Noble anymore!
Please contact your local store managers/corporate and tell them to end their relationship with Vick, go to Barnes & Noble's Facebook page (it is flooded with people who are disgusted) and post how unhappy you are! They already canceled one book signing with him in Jersey--lets get them all canceled!

I've been following this. I 'like' No Way Subway on fb (anti vick page) and they also posted where/when he's taking pet training classes at Petsmart 
One book signing already shut down for fear of protests!!!!!
Will def be calling b&n and not shop there ever again

me too! so many things are overlooked in our world when it comes to greedy money
Im just hoping that he won't be remembered for his football career instead as a dog killer!

just heard that they canceled all book signings---either the publisher canceled or his manager (I don't think it was B & N)-Im just glad it was canceled-now to get them to stop selling the book all together-that is the next mission

I'll probably be flamed for this, but here it goes....
I don't think B&N should ban the book. I don't think B&N should ban ANY books. There's a freedom of speech, of press, and I truly believe in that. You are free to not purchase the book. Personally, I think he should be writing this book from JAIL, but that's a different type of injustice. Do I think he's disgusting? Yes, but there's no law saying assholes can't write books... if this were true Paris Hilton and Snookie would certainly NOT be published.
I read the blurb for the book and hope it's sincere and not just a publicity stunt.
Finally Free shows how a gifted athlete's life spiraled out of control under the glare of money and fame, aided by his own poor choices. In his own words, Vick details his regrets, his search for forgiveness, the moments of unlikely grace--and the brokenness that brought his redemption on the way to his celebrated return to the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles.

I'm sure its all about the $$ w/him---otherwise he would donate the $ to pitbull rescues, etc.
IMHO, I don't feel he is sincere--he has made too many comments that proved he is not sincere or remorseful ---it is so sad that he hasn't learned what he did was wrong :(
you are def. rt. about freedom of speech & buying what you want, etc. I just wish B & N wouldn't give him the venue to do so----
