basal temp
So..how much of a dip in temp do i look for? My temp as been 97.5 and 97.6 for the past 9 days. I'm supposed to O any day now. What should my temp be when it dips?
Cross your fingers for me this month! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Re: basal temp
You won't necessarily get a temp dip the day you ovulate. The only way you will know if you O is the temp spike. You need to have 3 high temps to confirm ovulation.

Exactly.
When you temp, you won't actually know that you've ovulated until after it happens - your O date is the last day before your temperature shift. If you're using charting software, it won't even tell you you O'd until you input three days of consecutive high temps. Long story short, you can't predict O by your BBT.
