We have an attached garage, which is nice. And a small attic-type space.
We have a crawl basement and we can't use it for storage because it gets damp in there. But I didn't have a basement growing up, so I don't miss it.

1 car garage and 1/2 basement (not crawl space...just half the footprint of the house)
I would have liked more...but the huge attic makes up for it

The house we are buying has a full basement, an attic, 1 car garage and a shed.
My parents' house is going to be empty after we take all our junk out of it

We have an attached 1.5 car garage, a crawl space that we access thru the garage and an attic. And a previous owner added a storage room over the garage that can be accessed thru the master bedroom or via a staircase in the family room.
