basement bathroom (with pics)
After surviving a year with only 1 bathroom we finally put a bathroom in our basement. Clearly we still have to pick out glass for the shower doors but for the most part we're done

Looks awesome, who did the work did you need a permit for that?
We were thinking of doing this but it seems like so much work, I am afraid the ceiling might be to low

We hired a contractor. It was a lot of work and the ceiling is low but our contractor brought in a licensed plumber that was able to move some of the pipes so we can have the highest ceiling possible

Jess, that looks great!! Where'd you go for the tile? We want to redo our bathroom but I worry that'll be a real PITA.

Thanks Rachel! We used Bergen Tile in Farmingdale but our contractor installed it. Let us know if you decide to redo your bathroom, they gave us a coupon that'll get you some money off. It was a PITA but more so because they had to install all the plumbing, there was literally nothing there. It shouldn't be too bad to redo your existing bathroom.

Looks wonderful! Nice choice on the glass tile. Love your pedestal sink. Can I ask how big is the total bathroom and the shower?

Looks great!!! We are in the middle of putting in a bathroom in our basement as well and it is turning into a bigger project than we had anticipated, complete with jackhammering the cement floor to move the plumbing pipes.

Thanks ladies! The beige color we used is bleeker beige and the blue in the laundry room is nantucket fog.
