Basic Question
If I get a positive on the OPK, and my temps rise (triphasic pattern on my chart) and the CM is eggwhite-ish, is it safe to say I've ovulated?
I ask because my gyn keeps saying that I am not ovulating (based on one blood test when I was on clomid). My last two cycles show I've ovulated but she's convinced that I'm not.
I'm going to an RE on Monday but I'm just trying to be clear myself. Is it possible that all those things could happen and I did NOT ovulate?
[It's nuts that I spend SOOO Much of my time trying to figure this stuff out.

Re: Basic Question
Well do you get your period? From what I understand(and this is not my area of *expertise*) as long as you get AF every 25-35 days then you are ovulating. You can't necessarily rely on the things you mentioned because those are all related to LH which can rise but you could not ovulate after. I am sure they could find out if you've ovulated with a vag. sono?

Re: Basic Question
As Melissa said - Are you getting AF? If you are and I am assuming you are, make sure you print out your cycle charts when you go to the RE. If you have clear temp shifts (clomid or no) then you are ovulating. If the temp shifts are not clear, then you may not be ovulating. I found bringing the charts the best way to find out. Both my OB and RE were able to use my charts in figuring out what to do next.

Re: Basic Question
Ahhh...so I could get a positive OPK and have temp shifts AND still not be ovulating. Why is getting knocked up so freakin' difficult???!!
I am getting AF so that's good news (kinda).
I'm definitely bringing the charts to the RE on Monday.
Thanks!
