Bassinet to Crib transition?
How did you guys do it?
DD will only sleep for 30-45 minutes in the crib. We can't get her to sleep in it for long periods of time and I don't know if it's because the mattress in the crib is so firm compared to the mattress/pad in the bassinet or if it's related to something else.
I would have started her in the crib earlier, but the crib arrived when she was about 6 wks old (the 1st crib arrived damaged and a new one had to be made and shipped back up to NY.)
Any advice on how to make the transition easier? What worked for you?

Re: Bassinet to Crib transition?
We just put him in there and that was it. He was sleeping through the night. We do have a whole wind down routine. I have the humidifier going and some classical music everynight which really helps. I just play repeat and the music plays all night.
I also give him his last bottle before bed in his room with only the night light on. That seems to really help. If he cries I just leave him and then he eventually goes off.
Good Luck

Re: Bassinet to Crib transition?
I moved both my kiddies from the bassinet in our room to the crib in the nursery at about 3 months (Lauren was a little earlier). It was like magic, they started sleeping 12 hours every night as soon as they did. I think they liked the room and the mobile (which our bassinet didn't have).
Maybe you could play some soft music in the dim light right after she has her last feeding and lay her in before she is sleepy....
If she doens't already, try letting her nap in there 2x a day. That worked with us in helping with the transition.
Good Luck.
