Bath suggestions

My 9 month old used to be so good in the bath...now it is a nightmare trying to bathe him...he moves all around...wants to crawl, flip over, stand, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions???? Curious as to what you all use...

Re: Bath suggestions

my 9.5 month old turns over, stands, etc and i just let him. he's exploring his world and i keep my hands there to make sure he doesn't fall. he has so much fun, and i don't try to keep him sitting because it's useless. when he stands, that's when i wash his back and behind--it's easier to work with them than against them IMO.

Re: Bath suggestions

Does he sit up well on his own? I think by that time I was bathing DS in the bathtub itself. They have those bath seats but I never used one.

Re: Bath suggestions

My tub is like that one...Ryan moves all around, just wants to get up & go...he used to sit in the bath and play for about 20 min...I'm afraid if I try the real tub, it'll give him even more leaway to move around..not sure what to do?!?!?!

Re: Bath suggestions

Can you put a bath mat in the real tub and let him play with a bunch of toys? DD will stand up on occassion, but doesn't slide since the mat is rubber. I bought a cute Elmo one at Walmart.
