Bath time

when did DC move from the sink to the tub?

Sydnie is all over the place in her newborn to toddler tub and it's getting more difficult to bathe her in the sink.

Re: Bath time

I always put the baby tub in the big bathtub. It kills the back, but I do it. I can't wait until he sits up on his own, it will make things so much easier in the tub! I was looking at this big blowup ducky bath "tub" thing for when he does. they have it at BRU and target for @ $10Chat Icon

Re: Bath time

As soon as he could steadily sit up on his own and even then I used the bumble chair....until I was secure. If she is all over like that try her out in the tub.

Re: Bath time

DD is 8 months and we are still using the infant tub in the sink. I figure once she starts to pull herself up is when we will move.

I want to save my back as long as possible. Chat Icon

Re: Bath time

we put the baby tub in the tub right away. DH was concerned that DD would hit her head on the faucet.

Now DD bathes in the big tub... probably for the last 2 months. One day she just decided she HATED the little tub and would scream and cry until I took her out.

Re: Bath time

She hasn't been in the tub in the sink since she was 3 months old.

She bathed in her tub in the big tub til about 3 days ago (11.5 months).

Now she's in the big tub, and she loves it!

Re: Bath time

We always used the baby tub in the "big tub". Just last weekend we stopped using the baby tub. We have a rubber mat thingy on the floor of our tub. And it is actually so much easier to bath him now! Plus he plays with toys so he doesn't mind when I dump water on his head Chat Icon

Re: Bath time

I put the baby bath on top of the kitchen table. I don't think i will go to big tub until he can sit up on his own

DS was in the kitchen sink from the start. We moved from that to the real bathtub after 1.

With the sink...there is this sling type contraption that came with the baby tub (that we never used) that was the biggest help! You can by them separate at BBB for about $7.
