Bath time conversation- Hannahs take on CIO
just talking about stuff in the tub tonite with the girls, i tell emerson "mommy is using ferber tonite so that she can start to get some sleep...."
hannah- "whats ferber mom?"
me "ferber is when mommy lets emerson cry instead of going in to her"
H "why mom"
me " bc emerson doesnt know how to put herself to sleep yet and wakes mommy up all the time in the nite"
h "dont let emerson cry mom"
me "why not hannah"
h "dont let her cry bc she is my sister"
"me "well, do you want to wake up 5 times a nite and put her back to sleep"
h "sure mom"
she hired......
and emerson is CIO as we speak.......

Good luck tonight. I remember back when DD was a baby...you helped me soooo much with the whole CIO out thing. It was so hard, but we did it and it worked!
