do you think we can get away with a larger sized bathing suit - like a large in regular suits instead of maternity? if i got a tankini? i don't want tan lines on my shoulders and all the ones i see have halter straps...

Re: bathing suit question?
For me, it would never work b/c my chest & belly are REALLY growing. I am average + 5'8". Maybe for you, it would work.
I was looking for bathing suits today and I will post a couple for you.
If you are a small- this one may work for you:
Strapless maternity bathing suit
Another Strapless
I ordeed this and a halter one today from Old Navy- I'll see how they are. I need seperates b/c the way things have popped. Tankini top
Target had a couple ofLiz Lange ones but they were set not seperates- so if the top fit the bottom didn't.
Good luck!

I found GREAT tanks at pacific sunwear in the mall...you can get them online too. Nice and long, perfect preggo fit! Great for layering also.

Re: bathing suit question?
With my first I found myself in the middle of Spring Break in Panama City .
We went to Wal-Mart and I bought a bikini...so I got a medium bottom and large top. It was awesome!
